Chris’s life has been an uphill battle from the very beginning. He was born with a hole in his right lung and in 2003 was diagnosed with a Stage II or III brain tumor called "Ependymoma." The doctors removed five brain tumors from Chris and on his last surgery in December 2004 they found another brain tumor.

When I spoke to his dad today I could hear in his voice the unconditional love for his son as well as the pain he endures daily. Like most parents you could tell he wished this had happened to him and not his son.

I told Nick about the deerfarmer forum and how many people on here rest assure would pray for his son. He commented that he believed, “prayer is the only answer!”

Chris you are in the prayers of thousands around the world. Take care Darling and I hope to see you in your home state in a few weeks. God bless you and your family!!

Please keep Chris is your prayers they just recently found two more tumors and he will have another brain surgery in two weeks.

We had an exotic hunt schedule around the time of his surgery and it had to be canceled. With the help of two wonderful caring men in the state of Texas, Chris and his dad will be going on a sheep hunt this weekend with Charlie Seale and Bill Kirschner.

My heart and prayers are with you Chris and don’t be afraid because the Lord will never leave your side. When I had my brain surgery the last thing I did was pray and then I woke up and my mother and brother were at the end of the bed smiling at me; I will never forget that moment! You are very special and the Lord will watch over you and take care of you! AND WE WILL ALL PRAY FOR YOU TOO!! God bless you Darling and good luck on your hunt.

Brigid O’Donoghue.
