Chance has never been hunting, but he can shoot a gun and has a deep passion to enjoy the outdoors. When I first spoke to his mom a months ago I could tell her son was the love of her life, so watching her son battle cancer and a severe seizure disorder has been hard for the family. She is a single parent so like most of these families they endure a lot of financial burdens. Chance’s mother was just diagnosed a few days ago with 3rd/ stage cancer and she feels the world is crumpling down. I could tell her heart was torn because she was fighting to keep her son alive and now she is fighting for herself. I reassured her not to be afraid because only God decides when it’s our time. Faith is the only answer!! We will keep you posted on the outcome of Chance’s hunt. God bless you Chance and Patty. Brigid O'Donoghue

Chance is our Bridge Kid Leader and he is an awesome leader. I've known Chance for a few years and he is one brave young man. He is very very wise for his years. I am proud to know him. His Mom Patty is also in the Dream team. Patty you keep your head up and know that many are praying for you. Chance have a wonderful hunt! Brigid is awesome isn't she? Love and prayers, Debbie |

My family would like to extend our sympathy to Chance at the loss of his mom Patty. Our prayers will be with him and his older brother as they take the next steps on life's journey without their precious mom. Hang in there guys, she is always with you in your heart. Love, the Saucier/Gunn family |
