Just when you think you've become respectable at field judging antler growth one comes along and fools you. I thought this 2 year old was in the upper 170's, turns out he is 191 3/8"s. This is "Jesse James" a 2 year old 7x7 out of Loyd Ervins "Jesse" and a "5Brow" daughter, 5Brow is a son of "Hydro-Axes" mother.

Slingshot

I know how you feel about surprising scores... Slingshot was collected yesterday and I would have sworn he only scored about 285"-295"; well he ended up scoring 319 6/8 BC & would have been well into the 330's SCI. It's a shame that one side scored 39" smaller, but he is still a fantastic looking buck with a 29.5" inside spread and 27"-30" beams. His sons are also going into the 300"+ range with the same big frames!

Here is "Slate" another 2 year old 190 1/8" out of "Scooter" and "Jane Doe". Almost clean typical, only split brows. Live breeding is available with "Slate" and "Jesse James" these bucks are in Missouri. Jeff
