Dear Elijah,

Grandma told me your harvested a dandy of a 12 point buck at Dakota Outfitters. She plans to mail me pictures and I will post them on the forum.

I heard you are back in the hospital and not doing so well. You were named after God's great prophet of Israel who performed many miracles. Never be afraid to ask God to help you understand and endure with what lies ahead; he is with you always!

God bless you and congratulations on your deer hunt.

Dear Bridgett:
I want to thank you so very much for the hunting trip you gave to Elijah. I cannot tell you how much this meant to him. As you know he has struggled with brain cancer since he was 12. His latest tumor was in October ’07 and was hospitalized recently for 8 weeks with a brain infection from the surgery. He has lost so much of his life to the disease but despite all his lost, he still has his life. I thank God for that. This trip was like a infusion of positive energy. We just returned from Tennessee and he was glowing as he talked about his trip. He can hardly wait for the taxidermist to finish with the head.
He had minor surgery (nothing serious) last week and that was the reason we went down. He recovered fine but continues to struggle with his overall health. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you again, so very much. You will never know how much this meant to him and our family. We would never have been able to do this without you.

Sue Wilson
